Road Trips There are so many
wonderful road trips you can take around the United States but my favorite on
the East Coast is the route our family has taken many summers from the Washington,
D.C area to Nantucket Island. This
route offers dozens of quaint little towns where you can stop to rest or overnight
along the way. It’s a trip that a
family with even very small children can do easily. A great way to break up the drive is to stop
overnight in Mystic, Connecticut, tour the historic Mystic Seaport museum the
next day then continue after lunch reaching Nantucket Island by dinner. Packing your car appropriately and planning
everything out before you leave, as always, is crucial to a stress-free
vacation.
