Storing Art Supplies For me, as an artist, I
find excessive tubes of paint and mediums strewn about a studio to be too
distracting. I like to walk into a
space designated for creative endeavors and experience a sense of calm and
order so I can focus on my task at hand.
Visual beauty—in all parts of our home and work space—always
influences our emotions and mood whether we are aware of it or not. Much of your decision on how to organize your art supplies
depends on the look you want to achieve in a particular space. Baskets are sturdy enough to support heavy
liquids, tubes of paint and mediums, allow you to carry them from one
location to another, and look rather pretty when sitting on a shelf. Labeled drawers are also very effective,
and if you use containers or stackable plastic drawers—which are great for
clean up—applying EasyLabels in a decorative color, pattern and font adds
beauty as well as function to your artistic work environment.
